PPA Cover - Headache or opportunity
Progressive Sports has real expertise in the implementation and delivery of PPA cover within schools in Staffordshire. With reference to the legislation to allow teachers to spend 10% of their teaching time, away from the class, for planning, preparation and assessment time for lessons – PPA time.
With this in mind, many schools are looking at using sport as a way of covering PPA. We have designed a structured - professional and sustainable solution to - PPA, helping to enrich and extend the school’s curriculum in Physical Education.
Our staff deliver our own Scheme of Work, which follows National Curriculum guidelines and the QCA - covering all parts of the PE National Curriculum - (Games, Gymnastics & Dance)

Supply Cover
Progressive Sports also offers supply cover to schools in Staffordshire at a very reasonable rate. All staff have an understanding of the national curriculum and will come prepared with lesson plans.

Enrichment Programmes
Bespoke sports programmes, which are developed through consultation, with the Head Teacher or PE Co-ordinator. The programme will meet the individual needs of the population group, and have clear outcomes.
An example of such a programme would be to develop fundamental movement or key manipulation skills with KS1 for a term.
