PPA Cover - Headache or opportunity
Progressive Sports is a leading provider of PPA cover in the Midlands. With reference to the new legislation to allow teachers to spend 10% of their teaching time, away form the class, for planning, preparation and assessment time for lessons – PPA time.
With this in mind, many schools are looking at using sport as a way of covering PPA time. We have designed a well thought out, professional and flexible solution to PPA cover, helping to enrich and extend the schools curriculum in physical education.
Our Staff follow our own scheme of work, which follows National Curriculum guidelines and the QCA - covering the whole PE curriculum - (invasion games, striking and fielding games, net games, athletics and gymnastics)
It’s been identified that PE and school sport is a major contributor to school improvement and to the life and well being of the pupils. Sport has the power to unite people in a way little else can, sport speaks to people in a language they understand… if you are looking for a professional, child centred company to provide Physical Education in your school, then please do not hesitate to contact.

| “Progressive Sports have worked in conjunction with our PE co-ordinator, to provide a well structured programme involving a cross-section of sporting activities. They have fostered sound relationships with both pupils and staff. The children have certainly enjoyed working with the coaches and I would highly recommend Progressive Sports.” |
